PROVIDING ESSENTIAL AND NEXT-STEP SERVICES TO RESTORE HOPE AND HELP END HOMELESSNESS IN HOUSTON
Change Lives
A Way Out
Homelessness is a year-round reality for many. Last year alone, The Beacon served more than 8,500 homeless men and women in Houston and provided access and referral to more than 180,000 points of service within The Beacon and its partner agencies.
While we still focus and provide basic services to homeless clients, we aspire to provide a pathway to permanent solutions -- join us in helping to end homelessness in Houston.
Come to the Table
Every year, The Beacon hosts one of the most memorable and meaningful nights in Houston: Come to the Table. Award-winning chefs volunteer their time and skills to cook a four course meal that is served in the Day Center. The evening begins with a Garden Party reception at 6 PM in Nancy's Garden across from Christ Church Cathedral. This is followed by dinner at 7 PM and accompanied by a live auction and other opportunities to support our mission.
